Emil Hasala (Viola)

The older Brother of Eric Hasala (double bass) was born in 1995 in Bratislava (Slovakia). He has shown a remarkable musical talent since early childhood. At the age of three, he began to play violin under the direction of his father.

Later, at the age of eight, he began to play viola. Already at the age of nine, he played a very important concert as a soloist with the Slovakian Philharmonic Orchestra, he also began to study at the State Conservatory in Bratislava. In 2012 he was admitted to the class of Professor Thomas Riebl at the Mozart University Salzburg, an extraordinary field of study, since he was not even18 years old at that time. Among his most important achievements are awards from:


(2012) Talents for Europe, 1st prize with distinction for the best interpretation of the composers of the 20th century.

(2015) 1st Prize Music Competition of the Visegrad Group Conservatories.

(2017) Viva Musica Festival, 1st prize with Grand Prix award and a few others.
